Fondé en 1948, le COMPTOIR ELECTRONIQUE a été durant 25 ans le seul fabricant belge de multimètres, oscilloscopes et traceurs de câbles.
En 1978, le fils du fondateur rejoint l'entreprise et dirige actuellement la société, devenue DYNACAD, toujours spécialisée dans la distribution d'appareils de mesure et de contrôle.
En 1984, il a introduit les célèbres ordinateurs COMPAQ en Belgique.
